My three daughters are all at home together in Tumbarumba for the first time in 8 years. Melanie is home from the UK for a quick 10 day visit and Sarah & Ben have come from Canberra for the weekend to see her. They arranged for Eliza & Shaun to come down from Brisbane as a surprise for us….and what a lovely surprise it was too!
Eliza hasn’t been home since mid 2010 and has noted a few changes – her old bedroom being changed into a bathroom is the most obvious one!
It’s lovely to have them all home together again.

A tragic accident at age 17, resulting in a Bravery Award from the Queen, didn’t deter Debbie from travelling the world. A young retiree, after being made redundant from her 22 year career managing education programs in a men’s correctional centre, she now loves reading, blogging, riding her ebike and a good cup of tea! Also known as Granny Debs to her 4 grandchildren.

What a lovely surprise for you Deb, enjoy your precious time together. Bet Eliza was surprised to see all the changes you have made to the house, did she sleep in the bath???

Yes Sharon it is lovely to have them all home and of course they are arguing about who is the favourite. Makes me laugh 😍 Eliza was a bit overwhelmed with her old bedroom transformation especially as it meant she had nowhere to sleep!!

How lovely for you Deb. I hope Eliza wasn’t too traumatised to see her room! Are they arguing over who the favourite is?
