I mixed it up a bit on Friday by going for a walk (and a little run) after dinner, in the fading light of the day. It was very peaceful and I must say that I enjoyed the change. I also did a bit of canoeing today which was fun.
I hadn’t been feeling too motivated and felt a bit sluggish, so decided I might actually feel better if I went out and did something. I have had a niggly sore buttock muscle all day and needed to get moving. I was only going for a quick walk and so set my run keeper app for a walk but after walking up the first hill I decided I could run and off I went. I probably upset my run keeper app but my walk time was quite fast!
The evening light was very soft and pretty so I tried to capture it in this photo, not sure if it worked or not.
I am continuing my efforts to intensify my workouts for the last few weeks of the 12wbt challenge and am pleased with my progress to date. We enjoyed a great 3 hour bush walk yesterday to The Rocks which managed to burn quite a few calories. I am managing to keep on track with my food intake and am really starting to see some differences now.
I’m really enjoying being on holidays but am aware that my return to work is getting closer by the day 😦
