We have a walk every Wednesday afternoon for anyone who wants to join us. We leave from our place at 5.30 and walk the tracks through the pine forest and native bush for about an hour or so depending on how we all feel. It’s quite. social time and is always a pleasant afternoon. It’s not particularly taxing but it is worth the effort each week. The picture today is of us all on our walk – I have some very tall friends!
This morning it was so dark at 6am that I couldn’t go for my run in the forest as I normally do, so I drove into town and ran around the oval with my head torch on, until the light improved and then I ran around some of the streets of our sleepy town until I’d run my 5km.
Seeing the sunrise is always a great way to start the day 🙂
