Weekly photo challenge: extra, extra look in the tree

Blending in!

Blending in!

Believe it or not a soccer ball got stuck in the tree! Look carefully in the tree and you’ll see Hannes.  This picture always resonates with me  – Hannes was an exchange student in Australia from Sweden, having a fun time playing football with friends when the ball got caught high in the tree.  He climbed the tree to retrieve it and the look on his face said that he was still a young boy despite being a teenager in a whole different world. It was one of those ‘extra’ moments.   Click here for more examples and enjoy some extra good photos.

This week, share a photo that has a little something extra: an unexpected visitor, or a tranquil landscape with a splash of color. A lone carrot in a sea of peas. Draw us in with a humorous detail, or find a photo with an added element that makes it an image only you could capture.
