The green, green grass of home

Home!

I’m feeling inspired!

I took this photo this afternoon – it’s the view from the front of my house and a view I never tire of.  The Tumbarumba Hill often changes colour in the different seasons and the openness all around me is something I never take for granted.

I like the afternoon light, the huge expanse of blue sky, the wispy cloud and the weather vane pointing any which way, seemingly into the cloud.

I am undertaking a new challenge, a 30 day WordPress Photography course, where I hope to learn a bit more about techniques, improve my skills, make some contacts and share lots of good photos. I’ll be using my phone as my camera. So be aware there will be photos on various themes most days for the next 30 days!!

Today is the first day and the theme is home.

To kick off this course, let’s introduce ourselves, share an image that means home, and get to know our cameras.

Home is elusive. When we think about this word, we might picture different physical locations. And while home is often found on a map, it can also be less tangible: a loved one, a state of mind.

Home is important to me and my family.  We love travelling but it’s always nice to come home. What’s not to love about this view??

Deb 🙂
