Solitude – my legs and I

My legs took me on an afternoon walk today. It was really a mix of a slow run and a fast walk.

It was my usual walking locale, along the tracks in the bush and pine forest behind my house where it’s quiet and peaceful and I find myself relaxing as I pound along. My head clears from my day at work, I enjoy the fresh air, I notice the black cockatoos flying around, the Kangaroos and rabbits crossing the tracks in front of me and I feel the solitude settle around me.

Here’s my picture for Day 5 of photography 101, capturing my legs and I enjoying our solitude in the afternoon sunshine.

Not sure that I nailed today’s tip of using the rule of thirds, but I’ll keep trying.  There are sone great photos coming out of the challenge. Lots of very clever bloggers out there!
