Burning up

It’s been another hot sunny day and it’s going to be even hotter tomorrow, think 36 degrees celsius, and  it’s not even summer here yet! The sun has been warm and the sky blue.

When I read today’s prompt of warmth and the instruction:

Today, head outside and capture an image of warmth, using the sun as your source…

I did just that.  I went outside looked up at the sky and took a photo of the sky through the trees in the yard.  I like the effect of the sun and the flight tracks in the sky were an added bonus.  I also like the circular cloud formation just under the sun. I used the leaves on the tree to frame and soften the brightness of the sun and it was much cooler standing under the tree! Despite it being a picture of the sun, it doesn’t really look warm, so I have added another photo to my post.

This photo, taken a while ago, makes it look like the sun is on fire and the walls of the sun room give it a nice frame. It’s one of my favourites and exudes warmth.

On fire!

The roof, the roof, the roof is on fire!

Which one do you think fits the theme of warmth better?

No, it is going to be a scorcher here in Sydney but my hospital is air conditioned. Have a great day anyway.
