I have achieved a lot in my life so far but would have to say that my greatest achievements are my three daughters. Yes I know it’s a bit cheesy but that’s just how I am.
They are now grownup and I sometimes look at them and wonder how I managed to create such amazing creatures. I know I had help in their creation and I attribute my husband with many of their more positive traits. As their mother, I could tell you of all the reasons why I’m so proud of them but I won’t bore you. Suffice to say, I’m their mother and it’s my job to be proud of my achievement of producing them. (I can hear their groans and see the eye rolling already)
I undertook a series of posts last year which compared our lives at the same age. These stories are some of my favourite posts and I am very proud of them.
So if you were to ask me what I’ve done in my life, I could answer with things like: walked Kokoda, trekked in Nepal, cycled in Croatia, France & Belgium, joined Rotary, worked hard for many years, received a Bravery award from the Queen, travelled extensively, lived overseas for a year….the list goes on.
I am lucky to have had some great achievements but still I would put my three daughters at the top of any list.
This week’s photo challenge is Achievement.
