A sign of the times is how I see this photo. I took it last weekend in a quiet little country town in Victoria (Australia) just minutes off the main highway. It is a very historic town full of quaint old buildings but it has seen better days, like many rural towns which are now bypassed and off the beaten track.
This shop was obviously a major player back in the days when Kodak was big business but the picture tells a different story today. There were many other such signs on walls of buildings and it’s a shame to see these bits of history just fade away. I’m not sure what the answer is though. This one just took my fancy for some reason!
I am entering this in Justine’s Eclectic Corner #7 with the prompt of Street Life – I hope it fits the criteria!
Let me know what you think.
Deb 🙂

Thanks Michelle. It was taken at Chiltern just off the Hume Highway. Great little place.

Great photo! I like the color. I also like the lines and angles you captured. It is sad to see the fading of history.

I think it was the lines and angles that appealed to me at the time. It is sad about the gradual fading away of such history. I appreciate your comment, as always. 😄
