Black and white photography challenge (take 2): Day 5

Well here I am at the end of my 5 day challenge, thanks again to Jill for nominating me.  I have enjoyed having a second bite at this challenge, as black and white is not my normal or preferred photography style.  Having said that, I have learnt and experimented more this time around and it hasn’t been as stressful for some reason 🙂

For my final photo I offer this beautiful old cottage which friends have restored over many years.  The sepia tone gives it an old world charm which matches the cottage perfectly.

I love it the sky as well!

Thanks for encouraging me along and if anyone would like to take the challenge please feel free.  5 days of consecutive black and white photos is all it takes!

As always – keep smiling!

  1. What an interesting old cottage, Debbie. The double chimneys are so tall. They’d be an earthquake risk over here. For some reason the open gate seems to me as if someone was in a hurry to get away, repelling rather than inviting.
