Don’t burst my bubble!

I love this photo, which I found just yesterday while looking for shots for my weekly photo challenge –  On the way! I’d forgotten all about it.

We were in Split (in Croatia) last year, and had just finished a cycling holiday where we sailed around the islands in Southern Dalmatia and cycled up and down huge hills during the day. (I highly recommend it especially if you get an ebike to help you get up the hills, that’s if, like me, you don’t really enjoy uphill riding but want to do the trip.)

We had organised a few extra days to see more of this beautiful place and on our last night we wandered down to the harbour area for dinner.  We came across some entertainers creating these huge bubbles for the crowds, with most bubbles being burst by exuberant children in the very early stages before they even got a chance of floating away.

This one got away from the clambering hands of the youngsters and the other half of Deb’s World managed to capture it beautifully!  I freely admit that I did not take this photo and it definitely wasn’t taken on my iPhone like most of my other shots. I also admit to a bit of editing on IG to highlight the colours within the bubble.

I am posting this to Lucile’s Photo Rehab as well, where there are lots of gorgeous and artistic photos collected. Click the link here to take a look.

Is there another caption that would suit this photo?  If so, let me know in the comments below.
