FROZEN ADVENTURES!!
The frost this morning was quite heavy! When this happens the vineyard sprinklers are turned on, which helps to keep the frost from burning the vines by freezing the water. It sure did freeze the water! We woke to a view of ice sculptures throughout the vineyard and what a glorious site they were in the morning sunshine. My husband alerted me to the photographic delights and off I went. Keep an eye out for more frozen shots to come.

My Every day is an adventure photo project is making my life very interesting as I am seeing the world with new eyes each day. You can check out all my photos so far in one place by clicking the link Every day photo project .

I can imagine it must be a wonderful sight. So frost burns the vines, but ice protects them. Interesting.

Yep, something like that! The running water doesn’t let the frost settle. I feature another frozen image in today’s photo. We live next door to the vineyard so see all sorts of things happening but I admit to not always understanding the science behind it! Thanks for stopping by 🙂
