What’s your muse?

I will own up here – I am not a photographer.  Why then, you may ask, do I enter into the weekly photo challenges each week?

The answer to this is also the answer to this week’s photo challenge

What subject keeps you coming back? This week, show us your muse.

I am enthralled by everything around me, the world, nature, the views, the sights, the people, the adventures, the every day, the mundane – I love being alive and trying to capture some of these images to share with others and to keep alive in my memory bank.  I want to record my thoughts and these images for future reference and so I continue to take simple photos on my iPhone.  This is probably also the answer to the question “why do I blog”?

So what photo do I use for today’s post? I have started posting a photo everyday to share my every day adventures. Whether they be mundane, boring, exciting, brilliant – to me every day is an adventure.  I believe that if we stop looking for adventures then we shrivel up inside and I don’t want to do that. So I’m posting a gallery of my most recent adventure photos, just in case you haven’t seen them yet.  I suppose in all reality that ‘adventure’ is my muse at the moment.

Although I’m frightfully busy with working full time, a husband, 3 grownup daughters, a wedding coming up, running, going to the gym, Rotary commitments, friends, a great social life – I’m trying to find the time to see adventures in everything.  So far it’s working as I’m seeing life through different eyes each day and looking for things to photographs to share my adventures. You can click here for all my Every day photo project post in one place.

Looking back at these, it seems I have a thing for fire and ice!

    1. Thanks for that lovely comment Desleyjane. I have a lot to smile about and just one of them is my support crew of blogging friends. They sometimes ‘see’ more of me in my posts than others do. It’s not always easy as you know but it’s good fun. X
