As it’s a wet, miserable wintery Sunday outside, I am doing lots of fun things inside today. So far I’ve been reading, listening to music, drinking cups of tea, catching up on blogs, rearranging the clothes on the inside airers and making lots of lists of things I need to do. I have movies planned for the afternoon and I may decide to get out of my pyjamas at some stage during the day…or maybe not!
I love nothing more than having to stay inside on such days as there’s so much I can find to do. I went for my 5km run yesterday so I feel quite justified in not having to go outside for any particular reason, except to get more wood in for the fire!
After looking at some of the great closeup shots from this week’s photo challenge, I decided to add another post to the mix with a gallery of some of my favourite closeup photos. This was my entry yesterday – Droplets of Dew and my every day is an adventure photo of today features a different sort of closeup shot – Every Day is an adventure Day 49.
I love the way that the hairy bits of the sunflower bud and the frost show up as you get closer into them and the frozen grass and vines take on an other-worldly look. The details are amazing.
I know I have used these photos before in various posts so I hope you don’t mind seeing them again! I’m also submitting them to Lucile’s Photo101Rehab.
Enjoy your day – I know I will!

Oh Deb, that first black and white shot is stunning! I’m having a similar day to you. It’s not so cold here but I’ve been away all of last week with such long days, I too feel justified hanging out inside. Coffee, TV, puppy, more coffee, blogs, some inside photo shoots. What a great day it’s been so far 😉

Thanks for the encouragement I was really pleased with that shot at the time, so am glad to share it again. Not bad considering it was taken on my iPhone!!
It’s such a great way to spend the day isn’t it? Enjoy 😊

Hi Debbie, your winter day sounds and feels good, and I can feel the positive vibes in your words and photos. The close ups are fantastic and I love the black and white conversion you did. The texture took center stage, and made it sublime.
Thanks for posting it to the Rehab.

Hi Debbie! Great to hear that. I’ve followed your example. 😉 no worries, I’ve started to check links left in my posts against the inlinkz, as pingbacks are a disaster.

That’s dedication. Wet here too. Just spent the whole rainy day fossil hunting on the beach. I’ve actually just put the central heating on for a bit. Happy workout!
