Every day is as an adventure in my world!
How to get the day started on a cold frosty morning – go to the gym!
It was 6.30am on Friday morning, the sun was just up, the temperature was only 1 degree with a light frost settling on the grass and the gym was obviously the place to be. I turned up for my workout, after scraping the ice off my windscreen, still a bit sleepy, to see that the gym was open to the fresh air with the sun streaming through and, although not very warm, it was a bright and cheerful sight for sore eyes! Thankfully we are starting to warm up with spring blossoms bursting out all around us and slowly rising daily temperatures.
There was a veritable crowd of us this particular morning and we all enjoyed the blast of spring air and sun in our eyes as we moved through our routines. We are very lucky to have these facilities in our small town and I really appreciate the family run business. I couldn’t resist taking this photo to share the great start to my day. I hope you can get a sense of what it was like.
We always seem too busy to notice the little everyday things but I think it’s these things that help us to slow down and appreciate our lives more. I’m currently doing this by looking for the adventure in the everyday.

I’d love to hear from you. Have you had any good adventures lately?
Deb 🙂
Hi Deb,
I met you on Hugh’s site. I liked your mindset about blogging and community. I agree with what you wrote. If someone comments and follows me, it makes me feel like a part of a community. Since I was excited to meet a “like-minded blogger,” I wanted to come by and introduce myself.
I actually might be blogging about Hugh’s post I was so excited by the reaction to it.
As far as my reaction to your content:
1. The gym? How do you have time? I blog in all my free time, which I guess was the point of Hugh’s post, LOL
2. I see you have a photo archive here. I too am interested in photography and am planning another post about it soon. I have already blogged about it several times.
Nice to meet you.
Janice
