It’s the fourth Monday of the month which means it’s time for Sally D’s Mobile Photography Challenge – and this week it’s Challenger’s Choice.
4th Monday Challenger’s Choice (Pick One: Abstraction, Animals, Architecture, Food Photography, Night Photography, Objects, Panorama, Portraiture, Still Life, Street Photography, and Travel).
I have chosen night photography so that I can share this great photo from Canberra’s Floriade Nightfest over the weekend. (See this recent post for more info on Floriade – Weekly Photo Challenge: Changes)
This was called the Cathedral of Light.
These lights globes are all individual flower petals and together they make this an enchanting walk through arch – but only after the sun goes down. By day it is just a path under an arch filled with glass globes but at night it really comes alive.
The crowds wander through the arch with every second person stopping to take a selfie or a group shot with the dazzling light show as the backdrop. I was just happy to capture the effect with my phone.
Hope you like it!
Deb 🙂
