As I posted yesterday, Miriam at Out an’ About nominated me to join the 3 quotes, 3 day challenge and I thank her for thinking of me. I did tell her that I would put my own twist on the challenge and she was fine with that.
I sometimes think differently to other people and so, funnily enough, I decided that instead of actual quotes I would use jokes that you find inside a Christmas cracker/bonbon. They are notoriously bad jokes so I apologise in advance. I collected a few of the jokes from inside the bonbons at a Christmas party on Saturday night to have ready for my 3 days of this blogging challenge and I offer you the joke for Day 2:
Q. Why does Santa have 3 gardens?
A. So that he can ‘Ho Ho Ho’
How was that one???? I actually think this is a bit better than yesterday’s….see here for Day 1
Today’s photo comes from a long time ago when we were travelling as a family at Christmas time and couldn’t carry very much. I bought us all these tiny handmade little stockings at a market in readiness for Christmas Day (they are only a few centimetres/inches tall). We had to put our stockings on the step near the front door of the house we were staying in and, low and behold, Santa found us! They were full of locally made sweets and were a real hit.
We kept the stockings and every year I hang them on our Christmas tree as a reminder of how simple it can be to make everyone happy. It shouldn’t be a stressful time.
So only one day of the challenge to go! Did you think today’s joke is better than yesterday’s?
Deb 🙂
This joke took me by surprise. It was fun. Great post. Enjoy the best of the season. xo
