This is the world according to me…in photos, words, stories and sometimes even poetry. It’s a fun creative outlet, and as a bonus I get to meet some amazing bloggers from around the world.
My aim is to make you smile, educate you in some way, maybe inspire you and to share my world, while learning about your world.
I love an adventure and I always seem to find one – or it finds me! It keeps me feeling young :)
I’m living life to the fullest and embracing the challenges that come with midlife! I’m now a grandmother x 4, and I am as happy as a pig in mud.
Please take your time exploring my world – it’s full of stories, travels, adventures, photos and love.
I appreciate your visit, your likes and any comments or feedback you care to leave me. Feel free to share the love 😊

Pretty! But I always wonder, we get so excited for spring, which is a few weeks off here, but we’re already pining for it..do you get sad at this time of year that summer is ending there?

Yes I do get a bit sad as the end of summer approaches but it’s also a bit of a relief knowing that crisp, cooler days are on the way. Summer can be so long and drawn out and we are getting desperate for rain. Autumn here is a very pleasant time of year. I also pine for the coming of spring after long winter days. Enjoy the changing of the seasons.

So I won’t feel TOO guilty that I’m thrilled we’re headed toward spring while all my friends over there are seeing summer slip away. We’ll trade you back in a few months.
