This is the world according to me…in photos, words, stories and sometimes even poetry. It’s a fun creative outlet, and as a bonus I get to meet some amazing bloggers from around the world.
My aim is to make you smile, educate you in some way, maybe inspire you and to share my world, while learning about your world.
I love an adventure and I always seem to find one – or it finds me! It keeps me feeling young :)
I’m living life to the fullest and embracing the challenges that come with midlife! I’m now a grandmother x 4, and I am as happy as a pig in mud.
Please take your time exploring my world – it’s full of stories, travels, adventures, photos and love.
I appreciate your visit, your likes and any comments or feedback you care to leave me. Feel free to share the love 😊

Yep Dawn, welcome to Wednesday on this side of the world!! I’m running late for work after an abs class at 6am at the gym and a quick run and then a quick blog post. Time to slow down….and float away!

I’m grateful for Google translate (who also for some reason knows I’m a woman) because she does fantastic work with the appropriate intonations. I just helped out a friend in Italian. I needed it because my Italian is read only and is restricted to librettos of my favourite operas and Vogue L’Uomo. (What was that? Yes, I read all the pictures.)

I know! It was just the most inviting sky with the balloon and bird floating in the big blue sky. Thanks.
