I spotted this door when I was out walking while on holidays recently and immediately thought of posting it for Thursday Doors. I think that says something about how blogging gets into your being!! I have often looked at other bloggers posting about doors but I’m pretty sure this is my first post, apart from one of my fave posts Orange door to nowhere.
I like to think that this door has seen some life, with lots of stories to tell. It’s definitely seen better days!
The splash of colour on the bottom of the door adds a touch of style and hints of a stylish history before the ravages of time took over.
I look forward to sharing more doors and visiting other Thursday door posts.

That’s a very interesting combination of colors. It looks rather dramatic with the contrasts of texture at the top and then the sudden contrast of colors at the bottom.

I thought this was a great black and white photo until I scrolled down and was surprised by the color. Beautiful.
