It’s time again for Cee’s Share Your World. Share Your World (SYW) is all about having a safe place for everyone to answer random questions that Cee posts each week. Here is the basic format.
- Answer four questions each week.
- Bonus Question is always the same “What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?” Because we all need to be reminded that there are many things in our lives to be grateful about.
It’s a great way to join with other bloggers to share our worlds. The idea is to answer without overthinking the questions and have some FUN. Feel free to join in by copying the questions, posting your answers and linking back to Cee’s original post..
This week’s questions are:
Do you push the elevator button more than once? Do you really believe it makes the elevator faster?
No I press it once and hope for the best! They usually go up and down too fast anyway and take my stomach with it.
I had fun taking photos in an elevator one day:
Do you plan out things usually or do you do them more spontaneous (for example if you are visiting a big city you don’t know?)
A bit of both I think works well for me. I do like to plan things out so I am semi-organised but I also like to be spontaneous. When we go away my husband usually does the drilled down planning stuff about where we will be in the world and what’s around the corner worth visiting but I have been known to look at the postcards on display and decide to visit somewhere based on what the postcards are showing that looks appealing. Hey, it works for me 🙂
Describe yourself in at least four uplifting words.
Thoughtful, interesting, quirky and adventurous. Others may use a different set of words to describe me 🙂 When I worked in the correctional centre I was once called intimidating! I laughed so much at that one, if you’d met me you’d laugh too.

If you had a choice which would be your preference salt water beaches, fresh water lakes, ocean cruise, hot tub, ski resort or desert?
My pick would be salt water beaches! I live in the mountains and love getting to the beach as often as I can. I love the sounds, the smell, the beauty and the wildness of the sea. It changes daily and it’s great to visit at anytime of the year. Here’s some of my favourite beach shots.
Optional Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
Last week – I’m grateful for friends, my health and the fact that I can hike all day! I have just had a great weekend away with friends up in the Snowy Mountains of NSW where we did the 22km loop Main Range walk to the highest point of Australia. It was a great effort and I wrote this wrap-up post for Monday Musings – have a read if you’re keen to see some great pics of the area and luckily you won’t have sore muscles as a result of the walk (like me) – Mt Kosciuszko – Monday Musings
The week ahead – I’m grateful for a quieter week coming up. Time to catch my breath!
Thanks again for visiting my world. Enjoy the week ahead everyone!

If I lived in the mountains, I think I would want to hike all the time too! Great photos 🙂

😂you have no idea how hard it was to get this shot as I had to make sure no one else was in the lift with me at the time! Thanks so much for the chance to share it again.
