I have been blogging about being on top of Australia all week and now I see the theme for this week’s photo challenge is – Atop !
How amazing and just a bit spooky, I mean are they stalking me? 🙂
I really have been having a great week blogging about all things on top of Australia – if you don’t believe me just read on:

Thursday: The things you find when wandering around in the mountains in Australia! I love this little green ‘building’ which I gather is used by the workers who are doing the maintenance work on the track as they update the Main Range track up on Australia’s highest mountain, Mt Kosciuszko. I really want to use it for my Thursday Doors post as well as in response to this week’s photo challenge, as it is just so quirky!!!! I also think it could feature in a Doctor Who episode. What do you think?
Wednesday: Did you see my Wordless Wednesday post? If not, I showed some photos of the track maintenance that’s going on up on top of Mount Kosciuszko. The green building above is also in one of the photos if you look closely. Go check it out!
This was one of the photos I shared in my post on Wednesday:

On Tuesday I featured this great shot of me standing ON TOP of Australia in my weekly Share Your World post:

On Monday I wrote about my weekend hike – Main Range walk in Kosciuszko National Park and shared lots of photos of being on top of Australia… including this one of Defence personnel having a meeting of flags on the summit:

And now it’s Thursday and I think I’ve gone OVER THE TOP with my Atop posts but I’ll leave you with one last photo looking down on the Blue Lake, as it’s my favourite 🙂

In my humble opinion you can’t have enough of being atop of the world – well Australia anyway!
Which one is your favourite shot?

The one I like the best is the one with your arms outstretched – the color on the hills is so outstanding. This is a top post for sure.

Thanks for your lovely comment! It’s one of my favourites pics too. It really is an amazing place but I must admit to being scared out there on the rock 😊

I love the little green hut, it looks as if it has a face with a round, black nose. I could definitely see that in a Dr. Who episode – maybe next to our big green oil tank, lol.

Thanks Jean, you know I thought it looked a bit like a koala’s face so I’m glad you can also see a face there too 🙂

Deb, I love all of the photos in this post. That green alien looking thing definitely looks like something out of Dr Who and those photos on Mt K are awesome. The themes all aligned for you this week. Wonderful. 🙂

I thought of you doing this walk as I read your post. It was a full day of hiking 22km but great views to be had.

Great to hear that Ruth – it’s a must do but many don’t get around to it in favour of visiting beaches. It’s a big counyry isn’t it?
