Just another ordinary day or something a bit special?

Another ordinary day or a bit special?  Five thoughts:

  1. Receive notification from WordPress of 5 year anniversary of blogging! 5 years
  2. Not too keen on joining the Social Saturday bike ride group due to feeling tired and weather is a bit overcast,  but go anyway.  End up riding nearly 17kms, including hills, with the group, and feel much better for it!
  3. Decide to celebrate my blogging anniversary and the burning of over 400 calories on my bike ride with a delicious chocolate and raspberry brownie at Nest Cinema Cafe. Yummo! Celebratory cake
  4. Enjoy catching up with friends over coffee and score an invitation out for dinner tonight!
  5. Buy the Saturday paper and decide to have a lazy afternoon in….

    1. Thanks very much and all the best for your blogging journey! I registered my site 5 years ago, wrote a few early posts and promptly deleted them a short time later so it’s a constant work in progress! I do enjoy it though 🙂 Stay in touch.

  1. Congratulations on 5 years of blogging! I’ve just passed my 2 year anniversary and wondering how long I will keep going. Great job on the bike ride Debbie. It is always satisfying when you don’t feel like exercising and you force yourself to. The feeling afterwards is even sweeter I think. You did deserve your delicious treat as well.

    1. Thanks Sue, I admit to not being fully engaged in blogging all this time but in recent years I’ve really enjoyed it, especially the connections made with people like yourself. You are doing a great job promoting and encouraging people and I commend you for all your hard work. Take care!

  2. Sounds like a perfect Saturday, at least you worked off a few calories before embarking on your treat. Congrats on your 5th anniversary of blogging.

    1. Thanks Andrea, it was great but probably not what I really needed to eat as I’m trying to cut down on sweets 🙂 Oh well, life’s for eating cake I reckon. I’m enjoying my blogging so I’ll carry on a while longer I think.
