Hello everyone!
It’s time for Share Your World again, a highlight of my week. I love the idea of getting to know a bit more about other bloggers. Please note I never sit and think too long about the questions, I usually put in the first things that come into my head. It’s way more fun that way 🙂
This week I’ve also added in my husband’s answers as I posed the same questions to him just for fun – I’m not sure he knows I’ve used his responses in this post, so don’t tell him!
Q. What do you do when you’re not working? If you are retired, what do you do that is not part of your regular daytime routine?
A. Since finishing work late last year, this is one of the first times I’ve actually been asked what I do. Can you believe that I don’t know what to answer except to say that I ‘enjoy’ my life. My daily routine includes walking and/or running, blogging, reading, socialising – so maybe I can include things like cross stitching which I’ve just returned to after many years away; cooking for pleasure which I don’t do very often and learning new things like how to use Pinterest.
Husband: Travelling, cycling, helping students with their maths problems and seeing the world.
Q. What would you do if you won the lottery?
A. Give most of the money to my daughters, worthwhile charities and needy research foundations to help make the world a better place. (I always wanted to be a beauty queen and say that line.)
Husband: I’ve already won the lottery haven’t I?
Q. What makes you laugh the most?
A. At the moment it’s thinking how lucky I am not to be working within a toxic environment anymore. I’m spending all my time trying not to smirk at others who have to go to work everyday – is that mean of me? I laugh at comedy shows and myself mainly. I’m a laugh a minute – here’s proof: Embarrassing!
Husband: My wife – she’s so funny! 🙂
Q. What is your biggest pet peeve with modern technology?
I try to embrace technology but typos and auto correct really annoy me. I type away and suddenly I’m talking utter gibberish which I then have to decipher and amend in order to send a meaningful message. Our WiFi went AWOL yesterday and that was annoying as we had to deal with tech support people! Now our printer won’t talk to the computers as a result, so now we have to work through all the little issues to get it back. For something that’s supposed to save time, it can be a time consuming business!
Husband: It keeps changing and updating itself!
Bonus questions: What are grateful for from last week?
A. My 56 year old body is still capable of running, even after a few weeks off while holidaying – it’s not fast and it’s definitely not pretty – but hey I’m happy with it!
What are you looking forward to in the week ahead?
A. More of the same – life is good!

Are you wondering What Share Your World is all about?
Share Your World is a fun way to get to know each other through our blogs. Cee posts four random questions for those who want to participate and it’s always interesting to read what others have written in their responses.
- Answer four questions each week.
- Bonus Questions are always the same “What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?” Because we all need to be reminded that there are many things in our lives to be grateful about.
The idea is to answer the questions without overthinking them and just have FUN. Feel free to join in by copying the questions, writing your answers in a new post and linking back to Cee’s original post.
Thanks again for visiting my world. You can see all my past Share Your World posts here if you’re keen – Share Your World
Feel free to join in with this fun challenge and remember I always love hearing from you if you’d like to leave me a comment.
Enjoy the week ahead everyone!
Deb 🙂

Is your husband’s reference to winning the lottery, meaning being married to you? That’s how I interpreted it.

Yep that’s how I interpreted it too!! I’m not asking for any further clarification either 😊😊!!

Great answers and a fun idea to include your hubby’s. Don’t you just hate it when all the printers get out of whack? And auto words annoys me too big time. Njoy he test of your week xo

Thanks for this, Debs. I am so glad you introduced me to Share Your World! I’m going to change my days around so I can post on Wednesdays instead of Thursdays, but it’ll take a couple of weeks as I have two weeks scheduled that need to go through first as someone else is involved. Everyone has an answer to cancer

I’m so glad to hear that Shirley. I know it comes out earlier in the week but I just post when I can get around to it! You are very organised by the sounds of things. Look forward to seeing your posts as always.
