Hello everyone
I enjoy this fun, easy and relatively quick post each week where I get to share my answers to four random questions that Cee poses on her blog. As you may know, I’ve been sharing my husband’s answers, and even my mother’s, recently in my Share Your World posts, and it’s been fun to hear your thoughts.
This week I’ve ‘invited‘** my youngest daughter to answer the questions 🙂 I’m sure you’ll enjoy her involvement too.
Q. How do you like to spend a rainy day?
Me:
Depends if I’m feeling lazy or energetic. I have been known to go out in the rain in my purple gumboots and splash in all the puddles. Or I may be found lying on the lounge reading a good book with a nice hot cup of tea.
Miss E: I like to lay on the couch with a good book and a hot Milo (chocolate drink).
Q. List at least five favorite treats. (They do not have to be sugary).
Me:
1. Spending time with my family who are spread out all over the world. Even a call or message is a special treat.
2. Reading a good book
3. Chocolate Turkish Delight or chocolate sultanas
4. Having a massage
5. Not having to cook dinner
Miss E:
1. Seeing family (doesn’t happen too often)
2. Milo
3. Buying books (have to limit myself)
4. Reading books
4. getting taken out to dinner by the fiance
Q. Where’s your favorite place to take out-of-town guests?
Me: Sugar Pine walk, it’s a beautiful area, especially in the snow.
Miss E: Somewhere new and different.
Q. You are trapped in an elevator, who would you want to be trapped with?
Me: I was once trapped in a stairwell and that was scary enough but if I was stuck in an elevator I would want to be trapped with someone interesting, entertaining and resourceful. Someone like Doctor Who!
Miss E: I would like to be stuck with the Queen, just to find out more about her life. Or Jeanne Calment (she has the longest confirmed human lifespan on record, 1875-1997) her life would be fascinating with all the things that had changed throughout her lifetime.
I love the idea of getting to know a bit more about other bloggers (and other family members) and this is a great way of doing just that. Please note I never sit and think too long about the questions, I usually put in the first things that come into my head. It’s much more fun that way 🙂
** When I say ‘invited‘ I mean I sent her a message with these four random questions and asked her to tell me what her answers would be. Her response was “I’m sure these are random and not prescribed by the blogging overlords”!! I think she’s onto me 🙂

Are you wondering What Share Your World is all about?
Cee’s Share Your World is a fun way to get to know each other through our blogs. Cee posts four random questions for those who want to participate and it’s always interesting to read what others have written in their responses.
- Answer four questions each week.
- Bonus Questions are always the same “What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?” Because we all need to be reminded that there are many things in our lives to be grateful about.
The idea is to answer the questions without overthinking them and just have FUN. Feel free to join in by copying the questions, writing your answers in a new post and linking back to Cee’s original post.
Thanks again for visiting my world. You can see all my past Share Your World posts here if you’re keen – Share Your World
Feel free to join in with this fun challenge and remember I always love hearing from you if you’d like to leave me a comment.
Enjoy the week ahead everyone!
Deb 🙂

Thanks for sharing a few snippets about yourself (and your daughter). I’m enjoying getting to know you a bit better each week!

Enjoyed this week’s with you and your daughter. Particularly loved the elevator question. First thing that came to mind for me was hubby – so he would keep me safe and calm. LOL! So boring – right?!
