Adventure calls!

Dear friends

We’re off on a little adventure for the next few weeks, so I thought I’d let you know not to expect to hear from me for a while.

I won’t go into the details but I can say that it involves a long road trip, some rail trail cycling, visiting some wine areas, lots of walking, camping out in the great outdoors and roughing it!  

Having limited reception, let alone WiFi, I’m not anticipating doing any blogging for a while.  I will try to catch up on all your activities when I get back.

I may use my Instagram account whenever possible to keep a record of our adventures, so if you’re not already following along feel free to join in on the fun! (See below for other social media details).

I am looking forward to using the time away to reflect and simply absorb my surroundings.  

Australia is a big, beautiful country!

I’ll miss you 🙂

  4. Yes always good to have a break away from blogging 🙂 Will miss you too, funny isn’t it how we notice when other bloggers are not around!! I am also looking forward to our break in September. We have friends touring Australia in a motorhome! Have fun Debs and look forward to reading all about your adventures. Say smiling even when a spider is lurking near the entrance of your tent door 🙂

  9. Well I know you’re well and truly on the road as I write this. I’m sure you’re having a fabulous time and I’m so envious, even though I’ve just come from our six weeks up the Centre. Seems the travel bug has hit me bad! Anyway, enjoy it all Deb. We’re so lucky to live where we do. Australia is amazing. xo 🙂

  10. I’ve probably missed your departure already (as I’m preparing to head off on my own adventure soon as well), but just wanted to let you know I’m excited to hear/read all about it when we return!
