Worth a Word Wednesday: Afternoon light

Wordless Wednesday – has been renamed ‘Worth a Word’ Wednesday simply because I can’t stick to the rules of NO WORDS 🙂

Helloooooo – I’m back from my big adventure and have so much to catch up on. I promise to get over and read some of your posts in the next few days.  I have so many posts to write about our trip so keep an eye out for them…

In the meantime, here is one of my favourite photos from our recent adventure to the Flinders Ranges in South Australia.  It was taken on our first night of camping out, after our tent was setup, and while there was a lull before dinner around the campfire.  My husband and I took advantage of the late afternoon light to climb a nearby hill to watch the sunset.

I love the colours, the light, the shadows and the changing colours of the sky in the distance.  Although it was taken on my iPhone, I think it sill manages to capture the essence and beauty of the area, and provides a great memory of a fantastic trip.

You can find the posts I’ve written so far here – Aussie Outback Adventure #1, #2 and #3 – if you’d like to see what we’ve been up to. It’s a work in progress, as I’m sure you can imagine 🙂

I have missed you all but I also enjoyed my break from the real world.

Feel free to join in with Worth A Word Wednesday, post a photo and use as many words as you like!

I love it when people leave me a comment, so don’t be shy – comment away!

Debbie 🙂
