Voting CLOSES VERY SOON for the Annual Bloggers Bash Awards!!

 The FOURTH Annual Bloggers Bash Awards are fast approaching.  They will be held in London on May 19 2018.

Apparently some other major event is also in London that weekend but we’ll try not to steal the limelight!!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: VOTING CLOSES at midnight 30 April British Summer Time – which is equivalent to 9am Australian Eastern time Tuesday 1 May 2018.

We’re way ahead of the game down under 🙂

More importantly, I’m thrilled to be nominated in the Hidden Gem category and would appreciate your support, if that’s OK! This is the info about what constitutes a Hidden Gem.

Have you stumbled upon a blog by chance and discovered useful information or thought-provoking content? Is there a blog that doesn’t get the notoriety they deserve? Maybe they have such an original style you can’t help but read their posts. A blogger who you believe should get the limelight for a change is who deserves the Hidden Gem award.

I hate blowing my own trumpet but I do think I’m one of a kind, a unique voice and I’m always very original!

Many of my favourite bloggers are in the running for various awards in the 9 categories and I congratulate everyone who has received a nomination. Special mention must go to my daughter Melanie who blogs at The Wandering Darlings – she’s been nominated in the Best Pal category! She’d love your vote too 🙂

How to vote before time runs out?

Get voting! It’s so easy to do – click this link VOTING IS OPEN and select your choice in each category. Scroll down the page to see each of the categories and select your choices. It really couldn’t be simpler. You can vote in every category but you can only vote once. It only takes a few seconds to vote.

This is my first ever nomination and making it even more special is the fact that I’ll be attending the Bash in London with my daughter – yes all the way from Australia!

Remember voting closes at midnight on April 30th (BST) which is 9am Tuesday 1 May 2018 here in Eastern Australia.

Thanks to the hard working committee for all their organising, I’m honoured to be up for an award! I’m also very excited to finally meet in person, many of the bloggers I’ve become friends with during the course of my years of blogging. From the look of the agenda, it seems the event will be great fun, with the awards, speeches, talks and a panel debate, as well as time for networking and getting to know fellow bloggers.

Huge congrats to everyone involved 🙂

See you soon London! We leave home in a week’s time for our next big (think huge) adventure!

I suppose I’d better get packing 🙂
