This is the world according to me…in photos, words, stories and sometimes even poetry. It’s a fun creative outlet, and as a bonus I get to meet some amazing bloggers from around the world.
My aim is to make you smile, educate you in some way, maybe inspire you and to share my world, while learning about your world.
I love an adventure and I always seem to find one – or it finds me! It keeps me feeling young :)
I’m living life to the fullest and embracing the challenges that come with midlife! I’m now a grandmother x 4, and I am as happy as a pig in mud.
Please take your time exploring my world – it’s full of stories, travels, adventures, photos and love.
I appreciate your visit, your likes and any comments or feedback you care to leave me. Feel free to share the love 😊

Ok, now I’m curious, does Iceland get warm enough to relax in blue water without turning blue themselves? Is the water from a thermal spring perhaps?

Yes to all of the above! It’s a geothermal pool (hence the blue colouring), very warm but once you get out of the water it is cold! It was utterly delightful.

It’s a must see Miriam but frightfully expensive. As long as you know that before you arrive, as we did, then it’s not too much of a shock. Well worth it though 😊
