This is the world according to me…in photos, words, stories and sometimes even poetry. It’s a fun creative outlet, and as a bonus I get to meet some amazing bloggers from around the world.
My aim is to make you smile, educate you in some way, maybe inspire you and to share my world, while learning about your world.
I love an adventure and I always seem to find one – or it finds me! It keeps me feeling young :)
I’m living life to the fullest and embracing the challenges that come with midlife! I’m now a grandmother x 4, and I am as happy as a pig in mud.
Please take your time exploring my world – it’s full of stories, travels, adventures, photos and love.
I appreciate your visit, your likes and any comments or feedback you care to leave me. Feel free to share the love 😊

Deb’s World has joy in its blood. With gorgeous pictures, and some very powerful reflections on both love and loss Deb shares some valuable wisdom from a glorious life. Deb is up for anything, and isn’t afraid to try what seems impossible. She’s great and definitely a Hidden Gem!
Angela – You are Awesome blog
Hi, Deb – I so loved following your travel posts for this series. Your photography not only shows your immense creativity, it also reveals the soul of what you were trying to capture – and delightfully displays your joie de vivre (which is completely contagious). Thank you for joining in (and running with it) and for the shoutouts!

I’m glad I’m not the only one Miriam! It just feels a bit unreal 🙂 I’m trying hard to embrace it though without feeling too lazy and indulgent.

I know what you mean. I just spoke to my sister about this very thing. She said “just treat it like you’re on holidays.” 😉

Good idea! My whole life is one big holiday though 🙂

It’s a great feeling though isn’t it? Even if it does make you feel a bit guilty!

If I were Siri, I’d have said: “go for it, Debbie, because it helps recharge the batteries that makes life so interesting.”

That’s a much better response than Siri’s thanks Hugh!! It is a lovely feeling and yes we need to recharge the batteries from time to time. Happy new year to you 🥳

If Siri hasn’t responded to you by now, allow me to say “go ahead and enjoy”! Happy New Year!

It’s always good to do a little bit of nothing. We seem to specialise in ‘doing nothing’ some days, it’s great. Happy New Year by the way Deb, have a great 2019.

I’m becoming an expert at doing nothing, with all this heat we’re having 🙂

Heat? Heat? It’s absolutely freezing hat and scarf weather here.

Too funny, Deb. I just asked Siri the same thing. She gave me the exact same answer. You’d think that she would mix things up a bit!! 🙂

Haha, she definitely should mix it up a bit given you’re in Canada and I’m in Aus!!
