Friday feeling fragile

She was not fragile like a flower,

She was fragile like a bomb.

For some reason I like this quote, although I must admit to not feeling fragile like a bomb!

I took this photo recently with my sister and brother in law, as I was learning new skills from them, using a macro lens and editing , amongst other things. They were very patient and encouraging with me, which I really appreciated.

This pink rose, and it’s fragility, really appealed to me today.

I am not in need of sympathy but am having a slightly ‘fragile like a migraine’ day as I have the tail end of a migraine. An uncle passed away a couple of days ago and my mother, as next of kin, is too ill to do anything so it has fallen to me to clear his flat and deal with his estate. Trying to do this, and keep an eye on a poorly mother, and work full time (and even sneak a bit of writing in) is quite a balancing act. Oh and then there is a husband (he’s not too needy and is helping me lots), our children and a grandchild. Everyone needs a little piece of me this week. Hoping for a quieter weekend! Have a good one. xx
