I’m back!!
Today for Wordless Wednesday I’m sharing some images and memories of an amazing trip, I just can’t believe it was 9 years ago!

It’s harder than you think to go Wordless, especially when you’re one who likes to talk, but I try hard to let the photos do the talking in my Wordless Wednesday posts.

Feel free to join in by posting a photo using the hashtag #WordlessWednesday – it’s quite a fun and easy post each week!
And this week I got to take you for a walk down memory lane 🙂

Beautiful photos! Nine years have sped by quickly…and you still look the exact same!

Thanks Donna, I can’t believe it was that long ago at times! We were home hosted and the families took us into their hearts as well as their homes so we loved every minute of it!

It was fabulous Jonno. The family we stayed with loved dressing me up everyday in a different sari, it was a family event with grandma and the two girls helping their mother get me ready each day and I loved it!

Beautiful! Amazing clicks. The smile on the face says it all, lovely pic in sari. For me also it is always a beautiful feeling to wear a sari.

Thank you for your comments. I enjoyed the sensation of wearing the sari and felt very special to be invited and encouraged to do so by our generous hosts.

Some things from 10 odd years ago seem like only last year to me, and yet I can’t remember what I did only 5 minutes ago! I’d love to visit India one day, I think it would be fascinating to get to experience the colours, the sights, the culture. Lovely photos, thanks for sharing your trip down memory lane!

Thanks Caz, it was an amazing experience although I fed so dowdy in western clothes and once I dressed in the sari I felt much better.

Thanks Leslie, I loved wearing the different types and colourful saris, it felt amazing! I enjoy this type of series as it tends to make me get going on posting something rather than waiting for it all to be perfect!!
