This is the world according to me…in photos, words, stories and sometimes even poetry. It’s a fun creative outlet, and as a bonus I get to meet some amazing bloggers from around the world.
My aim is to make you smile, educate you in some way, maybe inspire you and to share my world, while learning about your world.
I love an adventure and I always seem to find one – or it finds me! It keeps me feeling young :)
I’m living life to the fullest and embracing the challenges that come with midlife! I’m now a grandmother x 4, and I am as happy as a pig in mud.
Please take your time exploring my world – it’s full of stories, travels, adventures, photos and love.
I appreciate your visit, your likes and any comments or feedback you care to leave me. Feel free to share the love 😊

‘Being someone’s sunshine on a cloudy day’ is a wonderful mantra to live by. Thank you for this important reminder.

I love this … and will be using “be the sunshine in someone’s day today” as my quote of the week in this week’s newsletter for the day job.

Lovely thought to be someones sunshine. Especially in this grey wet weather we are still experiencing.

Thanks Jonno! The thought came to me as I watched the sun’s rays focus in the distance while enjoying a walk up the gorge. The sight really gave me a great deal of pleasure and made me smile so I thought others might enjoy a smile too 🙂

Good to see that our British fascination with the weather is beginning to indoctrinate you while you’re here! Lovely photos 😊

You’ve been lucky to get views like that: on this side of the country we’ve had a string of unremittingly damp and dismal days. Not that we Brits would talk about that, of course 😉

No you Brits don’t talk about the weather much 😂 Sending you some of our sunshine from Somerset ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️
