Brussels Sprouts anyone?
I saw this question recently and my immediate response was Brussels Sprouts!
Apparently I’m not alone as many of the comments reflected my dislike of this humble little green balls of goodness 🤢
And then I arrived at my mother’s place for dinner last night and what was she serving up?
Yes you guessed it!
To be fair, they were roasted with chicken and other veges, covered in maple syrup and mustard, so were actually quite delicious, but it was the thought of them that sent me texting my sister and daughters, complaining that my mother was making me eat Brussels Sprouts! And yes I am a 59 year old firstborn!
So what would your answer be?
If 2020 was a food, what would it be? I’m very interested to hear your answers.
Wishing you a good week ahead.
I’m especially sending good vibes to my sister and friends in Melbourne who are now on stage 4 restrictions and have endured so much already. Stay well and keep your sense of humour intact (as much as you can).
