Shout Out Saturday#4 – Care to share?

You are more than welcome to join me for Shout Out Saturday

What’s it all about?

Shout Out Saturday is where I invite you to join in by leaving a link or a comment to something that has had an impact on you recently:

You can leave a link to your own blog, or maybe something you’ve read on someone else’s blog, or tell us about your favourite blogger, or simply share some good news, or even just drop in to say hello….

No strings attached, simply leave a comment, check out the others if you want to, there’s no need to get caught up too much in compulsory sharing or other rules – just keep it family friendly and we’ll all be happy!

Blogging, to me, is all about community, engagement and sharing.

Remember Saturday can cover any day of the week!

My Shout Out this week goes to….

Sue and Dave, at Travel Tales of Life, have been on my favourite bloggers list for a long time. We have a connection and similar interests but I have to say they are way more adventurous than I am!

I love reading Sue and Dave’s interesting travel posts, so when I saw their latest one about Rock Flour – Why are Glacial Lakes Blue – I knew I wanted to share it with you.

They are Canada based bloggers, and Canada just happens to be up near the top of my list of places I want to visit. When travelling becomes a thing again, that is!

I even mentioned making plans for a trip to Canada, including meeting up with them and other Canadian bloggers, in my 12 Things to do before I turn 60 post. Who knew when I wrote that post in late January this year, that overseas travelling would be a definite no-go in 2020?

In these times when we can’t travel to such places, it’s a pure delight to sit back and read about why the lakes are so blue, what has happened to make them so and to look at gorgeous photos. It’s travelling, but in a different way, isn’t it? Thanks Sue and Dave!

Care to Share??

Are you keen to share something? I hope so – just leave a comment or a link! Has someone done something nice for you, have you witnessed a random act of kindness, have you read something interesting or watched a good movie lately?

Anything really – it’s over to you!

As always, feel free to share and get the word out there #ShoutoutSaturday

Thanks again for all your support, it’s much appreciated.

  1. Hi, Deb – Having just finished a whirlwind bloggers’ gathering, I’d like to shoutout to meeting-up with fellow bloggers, IRL, whenever the opportunity strikes.
I’m definitely holding you to that trip to Canada to visit Sue and Dave, and me + fellow Vancouver Island bloggers.

  2. Hi Deb, Canada is top of our list too. I don’t know if we’ll ever make it there but we can always dream. We were meant to be camping in NSW this weekend but had to cancel (for the 4th time due to different circumstances over the last 10 years). A Queensland holiday is more realistic. Regards Christina

  3. Hi Deb I’ve had three wonderful holidays in Canada, in both summer and winter. I hope to get back there but at the moment I’m hoping to be able to visit my grandchildren in Queensland sometime soon. Hope you’re able to travel to family soon too

  4. Deb what a lovely surprise! So kind of you and a million thanks for the shout out. You know when you get to Canada our door is open to you and the Mathematician! One blog you are going to want to explore for that trip will be Leigh McAdam’s Hike Bike Travel. She is one of Canada’s top travel writers and a wonderful person. She says it like it is so you can always trust her advice.

With Leigh’s blog I’m sure every hike and adventure in Alberta is covered not to mention the rest of Canada. 😊
