Hi, Deb – Early mornings are truly stunning. But don’t ask me what late evenings look like. I truly have no idea. 😀

I’m a night owl so I rarely see beautiful mornings!

It’s funny when I worked Carol, I was up early, walking before work and since finishing I’ve become a tad lazy.

Beautiful photos! I wish I was able to get up earlier (I have trouble sleeping through the night so often make up for lost sleep in the am) to see such beautiful sights. Maybe with the time change, I’ll see more golden hour mornings.

Thanks Janis, it’s hard but I’ve enjoyed it lately especially as I’m walking with friends so we have a good chat along the way. Since giving up work I’ve tended to stay in bed later than before.

Hi Deb, help a girl out, I am confused. When does winter officially start and end in Australia? Summer has gone racing by here, and on September 1 we have signs of impending fall, but it does not start until September 22nd is that when your spring starts?

Well Michele, here in Aus we start winter on 1 June. 1st Sept is the start of spring but other places change mid month, something to do with astronomical dates I think.

Thank you! I feel a little dumb,, but I never thought about it before, and never knew anyone who lived there, so it wasn’t on my radar. Interesting about the different dates though too, because here the start dates for seasons range from the 20th to he 22nd, although pre ty sure when I was a child it as always the 21st, no wonder I can’t keep up! Best, Michele

All of your shots are great, Deb, but I love the one of the paddock. That tree has so much presence. 🌞

Beautiful photos, Deb. While I don’t much like waking up early, once I’m up, the morning is the most beautiful, peaceful time of day.
