This is the world according to me…in photos, words, stories and sometimes even poetry. It’s a fun creative outlet, and as a bonus I get to meet some amazing bloggers from around the world.
My aim is to make you smile, educate you in some way, maybe inspire you and to share my world, while learning about your world.
I love an adventure and I always seem to find one – or it finds me! It keeps me feeling young :)
I’m living life to the fullest and embracing the challenges that come with midlife! I’m now a grandmother x 4, and I am as happy as a pig in mud.
Please take your time exploring my world – it’s full of stories, travels, adventures, photos and love.
I appreciate your visit, your likes and any comments or feedback you care to leave me. Feel free to share the love 😊

Such a fun photo. I am not a big bird fan but this made me smile.

Thanks Hugh, it was great timing, as we often see them come down to sit with the ‘other’ magpie but I’ve never quite manage to capture it before! I wonder if they think it’s a real one when they come and sit on the fence post??

I’ve seen some wildlife documentaries where a robotic animal is placed amongst other wild animals, Debbie. It was interesting to see how most of the animals were inquisitive about the robotic version of themselves.

That’s a good point Hugh. They always seem inquisitive and curious about the magpie that never moves!

Great pic. Looks like the real one is making a real point of ignoring the pretender.

Yes I thought that too Jonno! I often wonder if they get confused and think it’s actually real, but I guess I’ll never know that 🙂

Beautiful! I love it.
I saw my first live magpie last week at my sister’s house in Utah.
What a fun post for WW.
