Happy sunflowers make me smile, how about you?
If roses tried to be sunflowers, they would lose their beauty; and if sunflowers tried to be roses, they would lose their strength.

Yes They do. It is only recently I noticed you can buy sunflowers as cut flowers – I bought some in the greengrocers yesterday.

I love sunflowers too. We have lots of snow around our house in Pennsylvania, much of it from a 30″ storm three weeks ago! Loved seeing your sunflower pictures. Blessings, Michele

My mom’s assisted living community gives residents fresh flowers every other Tuesday. Her last bouquet had a huge sunflower in it. Mom loved it! It was like a vase of sunshine.

That’s so sweet Leslie! A vase of sunshine is a perfect way of describing them 🙂

It’s been a very emotional few months with our parents. As you know and have experienced. It’s life! Though very hard to see them losing their independence and privacy. Having said that, my sociable father has lot’s of people to chat and to join in activities. He spent all his after not being able to play golf caring for Mum. The carer is the first to deteriorate. Then Les … that’s another health story that’s progressing further 🙄

Yes I can relate to your emotional few months! Take care of yourself and best wishes to you and Les.

Thanks Deb for the empathy as I know you have been through a similar situation. All good now and life is slowly readjusting itself.
