This is the world according to me…in photos, words, stories and sometimes even poetry. It’s a fun creative outlet, and as a bonus I get to meet some amazing bloggers from around the world.
My aim is to make you smile, educate you in some way, maybe inspire you and to share my world, while learning about your world.
I love an adventure and I always seem to find one – or it finds me! It keeps me feeling young :)
I’m living life to the fullest and embracing the challenges that come with midlife! I’m now a grandmother x 4, and I am as happy as a pig in mud.
Please take your time exploring my world – it’s full of stories, travels, adventures, photos and love.
I appreciate your visit, your likes and any comments or feedback you care to leave me. Feel free to share the love 😊

Your photography not only shows your immense creativity, it also reveals the soul of what you were trying to capture – and delightfully displays your joie de vivre (which is completely contagious). It’s been a very emotional few months with our parents. As you know and have experienced. It’s life! Though very hard to see them losing their independence and privacy. Having said that, my sociable father has lot’s of people to chat and to join in activities. He spent all his after not being able to play golf caring for Mum. The carer is the first to deteriorate. Then Les … that’s another health story that’s progressing further 🙄

Thanks Deb for the empathy as I know you have been through a similar situation. All good now and life is slowly readjusting itself.

My mom’s assisted living community gives residents fresh flowers every other Tuesday. Her last bouquet had a huge sunflower in it. Mom loved it! It was like a vase of sunshine.

I love sunflowers too. We have lots of snow around our house in Pennsylvania, much of it from a 30″ storm three weeks ago! Loved seeing your sunflower pictures. Blessings, Michele

Thanks Michele, we are in the middle of a heatwave so the vision of snow makes me sigh!!

Yes They do. It is only recently I noticed you can buy sunflowers as cut flowers – I bought some in the greengrocers yesterday.
