Crikey! #WordlessWednesday

Crikey!

Crikey!
Crikey! I’m just helping Steve Irwin 🙂

Crikey is a true blue Australian saying – an exclamation of surprise famously used by Steve Irwin, the founder of Australia Zoo.

Enjoy a few of my shots from a great day out.

Happy Wednesday to you!

Deb 🙂

  1. I have learned more about Australia this past year than I have known my entire life. Now here is another gem…Crikey! I will show these photos of Ellie the wombat to my granddaughters the next time I see them. (5 and 7-year-old). Plus the other photos. The gift that keeps on giving. 🙂Thank you, Deb! xx

    1. It’s true the founder of the zoo used the phrase a lot but he didn’t actually coin it. It’s an old English expression but was known for its use by Steve Irwin. Apologies if I misled you on this!
