This is the world according to me…in photos, words, stories and sometimes even poetry. It’s a fun creative outlet, and as a bonus I get to meet some amazing bloggers from around the world.
My aim is to make you smile, educate you in some way, maybe inspire you and to share my world, while learning about your world.
I love an adventure and I always seem to find one – or it finds me! It keeps me feeling young :)
I’m living life to the fullest and embracing the challenges that come with midlife! I’m now a grandmother x 4, and I am as happy as a pig in mud.
Please take your time exploring my world – it’s full of stories, travels, adventures, photos and love.
I appreciate your visit, your likes and any comments or feedback you care to leave me. Feel free to share the love 😊

It’s my first attempt at the story feature on the WordPress app. Not sure I know what I’m doing but I appreciate your feedback.

I was a bit do I want to. I haven’t used my instagram for ages and twitter link works fine with regular posts

Yes I know what you mean, I just thought I’d give it a go at least once. Probably won’t do much of it.

Hi Deb WordPress Stories! Well done. I’m trying to figure out how to do it.

It’s not that easy (yet) Sue as I’m not sure what size the photos should be and I can’t find that out anywhere. Not even sure it looks any good but it’s good to learn new things isn’t it?

I love picking wild blackberries (and adding a few apples and making them into pies!) but for us it is a September thing! Lovely colours in your photos.

Thanks Deb, this was a practice run of the new WordPress stories and the blackberries are weeds here and usually sprayed, but these ones had been missed in the forest where I walk.

This is the second blog I’ve seen so far using this stories feature. What do you make of it? I’m not sure that I’ll use it, except perhaps while travelling (once possible again!)

It’s OK but I need to know what size the photos should be before uploading them. It is only available through the app on my phone at the moment. Yes maybe travelling will be a good sue for it!

I know what you mean!! I wasted a bit of time playing around yesterday I can tell you 🤣 my biggest problem was the size of the photo on my phone had to be changed to fit the ‘story’ app. I’m not sure it worked quite right but I gave it a red hot go!! Good luck!

Thanks Erica, they are weeds here but in the forest they grow wildly if they’re not sprayed. Some locals will seek them out for jams and pies!
