A tragic accident at age 17, resulting in a Bravery Award from the Queen, didn’t deter Debbie from travelling the world. A young retiree, after being made redundant from her 22 year career managing education programs in a men’s correctional centre, she now loves reading, blogging, riding her ebike and a good cup of tea! Also known as Granny Debs to her 4 grandchildren.

I love trees coming out of the fog. Very atmospheric, indeed…or is that creepy?

A little bit of Bronte eeriness here Deb – very evocative of those creepy woods of novels of that era x

Yes Leanne, you are so right! I had school kids in there all day and they enjoyed the atmosphere and they all came out I’m happy to say. x

Atmospheric!! Great description for that photo or great photo for that word!! Such tall, slender trees. Like a forest in a fairy tale. Seems like Hansel and Gretel should be wandering beneath those trees.

Thanks Leslie, I agree with your comment. Funnily enough I was working with school kids that ay so shortly after taking the photo the kids invaded the forest and they loved the atmosphere!
