Past Square – Day #19
Adding some fun to the trees
In anticipation of the grandchildren coming to visit, now that lockdowns are (almost) over, for us, we’ve finally put the yellow swing up in the garden.

It’s been sitting, sad and lonely, on the verandah waiting for its turn to shine and brighten the garden – very soon the shrill squeals of toddlers will sound and the whole place will come alive again!
Becky has her Squares challenge going again for the month of October, where we can share any photo as long as it’s square, on the theme of Past something – these are some of the past themes for squares, so there’s lots of choice! Today I chose the past square theme of Trees.

I’ve not been very good at joining this month, I keep meaning to join in but get distracted quite easily. But I’m here today!
Hope all is well in your world.
Deb 🙂

Oh the grandchildren will love the swing Deb and the yellow is such a pop of colour. I loved my swing growing up and also swinging Ethan when he was younger and now Elliot. Elliot loves the swing and says ‘higher Nan’ for hours! Many happy memories coming your way. x

Fabulous colour contrast in that photo, Deb. And I’m still smiling about your beautiful (and creative) business card!

Thanks Donna, the garden is so green at the moment with all the rain and the yellow swing just shows it up so well! I think I will feature my new business card in my monthly Bold update.

It’s been very popular over the weekend with a visit from 2 of the grandchildren Jonno! The littlest one, at 9 months, laughed and laughed when pushed a bit too energetically by his 3 year old sister, which didn’t go down well when we told her to be more gentle. She just said ‘but he likes it’ – which he did!!
