Favourites from the week
It’s been a fun week! Here are some of my favourite snaps.
A happy snap
A great day out riding the rail trail with the newly acquired Rotary Triobikes – I couldn’t help myself, I just had to stop and snap this shot amongst the trees at Wolseley Park. Feeling fit, healthy and happy.

You’ve got mail
My daughter at Dottie Wombat sent me this lovely personalised pouch and because I’m Dottie’s Granny I got special service – not everyone gets their own beautiful photo of Dottie when they get their parcels!

Raindrops on Roses
Raindrops on roses Roses and raindrops
I shared one of these rose shots on Instagram which started a whole sing-along with a friend, after she sent me a photo of her ‘whiskers on kittens’. Sometimes it’s the small things 🙂
Garden action

Our family’s ‘Word a Week’ photo challenge had food for the theme so I used this photo of a bee feeding from the pop-up bistro in the garden!

Sandpit play
Of course a visit to the grandchildren included some imaginative play and the sandpit was a great place to start!

Celebrating a wedding anniversary
Our daughter and son-in-law celebrated their 6th wedding anniversary on the weekend, so we went over to Canberra to babysat the two little ones, so they could enjoy a night out together, and of course we enjoyed our time immensely.

No guesses which is my favourite-est photo from the week 🙂

How cute are my grandchildren – and the grandparents aren’t too bad either!!
Have a great week!
Deb xx

Cuteness all around! I am a tad jealous, though, that you are entering spring where you are. Enjoy!

Yes I’m so pleased we are heading into summer down here, although you wouldn’t know it at the moment with rain for the next few days! Cuteness is a great word to describe us all, thanks Janis!

Yes it was a different way of looking at things Jen, I like pushing the boundaries a bit every now and again. Life is pretty good at the moment, I’ll admit 🙂

Hi Deb – I loved the photo of you and Grant with the grandies at the end – and also the first one on the trail – you just look so happy in both of them – life is really good isn’t it? x

Hi Donna, that photo of us is my favourite so far! I love the fact we are all relaxed and comfortable with each other and the way the love shines through. That first shot was me being my quirky self, so I’m pleased you appreciate it 🙂

You’ve woven together a delightful set of photos that tell a story of a full and happy life. Your little Dottie is a cutie and I know that look from the breakfast table — all my grandchildren photos with me in it have the same love shining through.

Thanks Bernie, that was exactly what i was trying to do, weave a story to show what’s been going on. As you well know, things change quickly so I want to acknowledge the good things when they happen :). The last shot with the grandkids makes me smile every time I look at it – so much love!

Now that’s what I call a bunch of happy snaps! I can’t get that song out of my head!

I know that song is like a revolving door in my head at the moment but it is a happy one so that’s good! Lots of happiness to share 🙂

I don’t remember all the words, but I warble “Favourite Things” to myself…all the time. Because, “then I don’t feel so bad.” 🙂
Some happy looking people in that last shot, little and big 🙂

Yes happy smiles all round now that we can travel to see family again! The song is lovely and full of hope so it was perfect to hum along to.

Thanks, it’s been a while so it’s very exciting to be able to visit family and do some ‘normal’ things again. Life is good, we are fortunate and I never take these times for granted.

I reckon you could power your bike with the smiles and joy from this post. Lovely Deb, every single part of it. How awesome is that little package from Dottie Wombat (very creative daughter she is, I follow her on IG now) and so good to see you both giving the parents of the ACT kids a break to celebrate their 5 years. It’s always good to see your blog in the link up for Life This Week! Thank you so much for being a part of this community. Next week I am announcing my plans for 2022 on Denyse Whelan Blogs. See you then too, I hope. Denyse.

Haha, yes I probably could power a small energy plant with my smiles Denyse 🙂 It’s been so lovely being able to see family again, as you well know too! Our grandparent photos in our respective posts were very similar I thought. See you next week 🙂
