This is the world according to me…in photos, words, stories and sometimes even poetry. It’s a fun creative outlet, and as a bonus I get to meet some amazing bloggers from around the world.
My aim is to make you smile, educate you in some way, maybe inspire you and to share my world, while learning about your world.
I love an adventure and I always seem to find one – or it finds me! It keeps me feeling young :)
I’m living life to the fullest and embracing the challenges that come with midlife! I’m now a grandmother x 4, and I am as happy as a pig in mud.
Please take your time exploring my world – it’s full of stories, travels, adventures, photos and love.
I appreciate your visit, your likes and any comments or feedback you care to leave me. Feel free to share the love 😊

Deb’s World has joy in its blood. With gorgeous pictures, and some very powerful reflections on both love and loss Deb shares some valuable wisdom from a glorious life. Deb is up for anything, and isn’t afraid to try what seems impossible. She’s great and definitely a Hidden Gem!
Angela – You are Awesome blog
Hi, Deb – I so loved following your travel posts for this series. Your photography not only shows your immense creativity, it also reveals the soul of what you were trying to capture – and delightfully displays your joie de vivre (which is completely contagious). Thank you for joining in (and running with it) and for the shoutouts!

I had a nice phone chat with a retired colleague of mine yesterday. It was eons since we chatted but it felt so natural.

We seem to just slip back into that ‘mode’ and only often stop to draw breath Bernie!

Which is nice. I miss a lot of my work friends but many of the relationships have not transitioned over.

Yes it’s one of the things I miss the most about not working!

Me too. In my newer role (that I just retired from) I got to see those old work friends but because I was teaching never had time to talk (sadly).

That’s the sign of good friendship, not seeing one another for ages and being able to pick up like it was yesterday

Happy faces among friends equal a good time. My wife is named Debbie, and the best secretary I worked with was Debbie (Deb).
