2022 Word of the Year Link Party

Do you usually do a wrap-up post for your WOTY?

Here’s something new and fun from the team that brings you What’s On Your Bookshelf each month.

Sue from Women Living Well After 50, had a brainwave while she was out for a run…in her words:

I was out for a run and thinking how I’m getting my blogging mojo back after the ‘cloud’ lifted at the end of 2021. I do my best thinking when I’m running. I was also reflecting on some upcoming Link Parties such as What’s On Your Plate and What’s On Your Bookshelf? that I contribute to or co-host and decided that I would like to offer the 2022 Word of the Year Link Party each month.

Joining me as co-hosts will be Deb from Deb’s World, Donna from Retirement Reflections and Jo from And Anyways……

Monthly updates of my WOTY

Now I always write a monthly update on my WOTY (my BOLD updates for WOTY21 are here), so to have a place to share them with others, who also do something similar, is going to be great this year. Thanks so much to Sue for the great idea and for inviting me to be a co-host, along with Jo and Donna!

  1. Give a busy woman and new job and she will run with it…you are a wonderful sharer helping others too Deb. Congratulations on this new venture. It’s been great to see your post in the link up for Life This Week at Denyse Whelan Blogs.
I look forward to seeing you again next Monday if you have a post to share. Thanks so much. Denyse.

  2. I’ve not got a WOTY but it’s a great idea. I’d intended to participate in the book linkup this month and started my post, but it’s still sitting in my drafts folder half-written. Maybe i’ll put the date for Feb in my calendar and post it then!

  3. So fun! You always seem to do so well with your WOTY; I had picked one last year and by summer I had forgotten about it! I am going to try and have at least one post a month this year chronicling how I am applying my WOTY this year.

  4. I’m going to enjoy reading everybody’s posts on how they’re ’keeping it real’.
No WOTY for me this year…just some little encouraging phrases I’m hoping will guide me along the way.

  5. What a wonderful idea, Deb! I absolutely love it! I have a busy week ahead but I’ll do my best to join on Friday. Otherwise in February! This link-up will help me to actually think through what I’ve done to reach my goal during the month.

  6. What a great idea from Sue and your team to execute it, Debbie! I’m working on my word with encouragement from my church, so this will make be more accountable and perhaps I can find a way to link with my 1/30 SS post (if it’s not too late for the link-up)!
