Reading with Papa G

A few of my favourite shots from our Easter weekend with a visit from one of our daughters, our son-in-law and two grandchildren.
The whole weekend was amazing with perfect autumn weather; we played outside; used the swing and monkey bars; climbed the fences in the garden; we cooked; had a foot spa session; read books; watched Bluey episodes; visited the playground; rode the scooter at the pump track; ate hot cross buns; hunted for Easter eggs and went out to local cafes for hot chocolates and muffins..

Wednesdays are for sharing some amazing moments – these are mine. #wakeupandbeamazingwednesday
Have an amazing day – you’re amazing too!

Yes they were great memories to make Bernie. Climbing the fence is one of my favourites because Zachary was so determined to do it like his big sister!

I loved seeing your family photos on Facebook Deb – and they look even better in your blog post. So glad you got to share such precious time with the family. Since covid arrived I think we are even more appreciative of the time we get to spend together aren’t we?

Thanks Leanne, it’s so true I am even more appreciative of the time I get to spend with my grandchildren and my children for that matter as I’ve missed them all so much over the past few years. I couldn’t help but share them here as well as on my Facebook page, once I had permission to share them!

Yes it was a lovely time Donna and everything went well with the weather cooperating (it’s now raining so we were fortunate to get the warm sunshine). I’m so lucky to get visits from some of my grandchildren. The dream is that one day all 4 of them will be together playing out in the yard – now that will be a GREAT day! Thanks for your lovely comment, I’m glad you enjoyed my photos.

I think they are adorable too Janis, so your comment made me happy :). I don’t share too many of them but every now and again, and when I get permission to do so from the parents, it’s fun to share the love!
