Bold Debbie 2021

A tragic accident at age 17, resulting in a Bravery Award from the Queen, didn’t deter Debbie from travelling the world.  A young retiree,  after being made redundant from her 22 year career managing education programs in a men’s correctional centre, she now loves reading, blogging, riding her ebike and a good cup of tea! Also known as Granny Debs to her 4 grandchildren.

    1. I know Terri, they were so hardy back then and made the most of whatever they had to hand. These museums show us so much of how life was back then and as you say they’re so interesting!

    1. Thanks Donna, I thought the story was there in the photo without the need for more words! These museums are so good for keeping this sort of history alive and I enjoy sharing these interesting snippets 🙂
