From my World to yours…wishing you well

All the best to you

Wherever you are in the world, whoever you’re with, whatever you’re doing, however you celebrate – I’m wishing you a Happy Christmas and holiday season.

Many thanks for your continued support of my blogging world. Blogging is an important part of my life and I couldn’t do it without each and every one of you being a part of my world!

I wish nothing but the best for you.

Deb

2022 – a different year with travel back on the agenda!

Here’s hoping your plans work out without any unwanted drama. Our family has somehow managed to get Covid at the same time, despite not being in contact or living anywhere near each other. We actually live in three different states of Australia, and it’s got us all at the same time! It does mean that we should all be fine for Christmas Day and can be together to celebrate as planned.

The highlight of 2022 was definitely travelling to England to see our daughter and her family, celebrating Dottie’s 3rd birthday with her and catching up with other family. Travel was back on the agenda, albeit with lots of anxiety and extra hoops to jump through.

I’m looking forward to a beach/pool Christmas week up north with warm sunshine and loads of family fun. We’ll be missing key people again this year but they will be in our thoughts, and in some cases with us via technology. Here’s looking at you Dottie, Melanie and Craig πŸ™‚

This will be me very soon, or rather what I think I look like lounging by the pool, the reality will be much different, but in my mind that’s me πŸ™‚

Word of the Year 2022 – final linkup coming next week

This isn’t my last post for 2022, as we have the monthly Word of the Year (WOTY) linkup on 30 December where I sum up how my WOTY has gone. Hope you can join us for the linkup.

Gift has been a great word during 2022 and I’ve totally embraced it. Make sure you pop back on 30 December and have a read. I’ll be announcing my 2023 WOTY in early January.

Hopefully there will be lots of gifts coming your way over the coming days. As I get older I find I don’t need as many gifts, as long as I have friends and family around me.

I really do appreciate every one of you for your comments, your friendship, your generous shares and your non-stop encouragement, in what has been another big year.

Let me know what your plans are, and if it’s a hot or cold Christmas for you.

Aussie Christmas Tree
I spotted this Christmas Tree in a shop recently, I love the gum leaves – very clever!

Take care – sending love from my world to yours.

  1. Merry Christmas to you and all your family Debbie…..going to a hot time in town on Chrissy Day when you all get together.

And talking of hot – we are forecast to have a hot one here east of Melbourne with no chance of rain. Wonders will never cease😎 #WW&P

  2. Our snap of bitterly cold (minus 10C) weather seems to be over now and the snow was washed away by a day of rain so it look like we will be having a damp but mild Christmas Day here. I can’t imagine what Christmas in the Australian sunshine is like, it is odd to think of celebrating Christmas in Summer! I hope you have a healthy and happy Christmas and look forward to your blog posts in the New Year x

  4. That Christmas tree on the wall screams Auz to me! This year its definitely white and cold Christmas for us. I’m OK with that as we will all be together. The frozen water valves, vehicles that won’t start and cold frigid back porches could go away! Happy holidays. Take care. Bernie ps I think you will look just like the pool photo!!
