My 2019 Reading List
Reading is one of the pleasures of life, so if you’re like me and love a good book then read on to see what I managed to read during the year!
I am also part of a book club where we have a set book to read and we meet to discuss it each month. With all my travels this year I haven’t managed to read too many of them or make many of our get togethers. I promise to do better next year!

Are you on Goodreads? – you can join me π
You may have noticed that I have included links to Goodreads on each of these titles, so if you want more information on what the book is about, click the title and away you go! I read a wide range….don’t judge me π
Please note I’ve also bolded all of my 5* star ratings – I’m fairly strict with what I give 5 stars to, so you can be assured that these are my favourites for the year.
My Goodreads Challenge 2019
At the beginning of 2019 I set myself the challenge of reading 55 books for the year. Let’s see how many I get up to! I don’t set any rules or follow any plans, I just read what I feel like, what friends have recommended and what takes my eye. I rarely start a book and not finish it but it does happen sometimes.!
At the time of writing this update, in late December 2019, I’m up to 105 books, with 2 more on the go – I’m chuffed to bits with my efforts this year. The best news is that I’ve discovered some new authors like Terry Tyler. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed her apocalyptic world.
